World's smallest bonsai tree. Only 22mm tall!

You're probably just as surprised as we were to know that between 50 to 60 volcanic eruptions happen per year around the world. That said, there's a good chance that on any given day, an astronaut is able to view a volcanic eruption from space. The Sarychev volcano (seen above) in the northwest Pacific Ocean is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and has erupted eight times since 1946.
