When you watch your children play hide and seek, the younger ones become so eager to remain undiscovered that you can almost hear them stifling the urge to shout, 'Don't look in the cupboard!' Even as adults we often run the risk of drawing people's attention to the very thing that we least want them to notice, simply by trying a little too hard to keep it hidden. All you really need to do with regard to any matter that's worrying you, is relax. Take care of the obvious and the rest will take care of itself.
What if we were to get an unwanted visitor? Out of politeness, we invite them to sit and then, while they are bending our ear, we realise they are getting so uncomfortable that they are clearly planning to leave early.
