They say that ' if we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it.' But if we spend all our time with our noses pressed firmly into the history books, we may miss what's happening outside the library. It is wise to be wary of easy assumptions. None of us know quite as much as we imagine that we know. Sometimes, we wrongly identify people and situations. We think, ' yes, this is one of those, so I know what to do.' Don't make a choice on the basis of a resemblance that is only slight and superficial.
