Before the sun can rise, night must fall. Before skies can clear, clouds must gather. Before a rescue, there must be a situation from which escape is needed. You can't make something right till you first see what's wrong with it. Yet often, when we are in unsatisfactory situations our coping strategy involves persuading ourselves that things are not so bad. This then become the very reason why we stay stuck when we ought to be able break free.
