The world too often seems to be full of 'reasons why things can't happen'. Even when we try not to look for these - perhaps because we want to keep a dream alive or to protect someone - life has a way of eventually drawing our attention towards them. Even if we exclusively keep the company of optimists, someone we meet, sooner or later, will cast a cloud. And because we are sensitive, we will listen - and then, if we are not careful, we will start to believe. But in no way does anything negative now outweigh anything positive.

If a tree falls in the forest where nobody is around to hear it, will it make a sound? This question is What will happen if there is no way to tell? Then there will be no way to tell! Don't impose imaginary limits on a situation that may yet turn out to surprise you.Life sometimes, hardly even seems real.

We all have days when we seem to be living in a bubble, not properly connecting to the people and situations around us. But then there are moments when everything becomes too intense, when a situation could hardly be more 'real' and we find ourselves being shaken awake, you went through such a powerful experience. What you learned then is about to prove priceless.  I know what you are thinking. But, sometimes the cosmos is like that. It just lets us win! You'll see soon.

In politics and love alike, people sometimes seem to suffer fear of commitment. They will try to keep all their options open for as long as they can because they know that the moment they come down on one side of a fence they are going to start gaining great support and appreciation in some quarters whilst immediately alienating others. And commitments, once given, are hard to retract. Not perhaps impossible, but it all gets very messy. Nonetheless, you have a right (and possibly a good reason) to change your mind.
