Things will carry on getting silly until someone does something sensible. The problem here is that only crazy people ever imagine themselves to be sane. You have to be pretty ignorant before you decide to proclaim yourself wise. You have to be thick-skinned before you decide to describe yourself as sensitive. And you have to be big-headed to call yourself humble! So... let's look again at that step you now see the need to take. Is it ridiculous? Or is it even more ridiculous to talk yourself out of it?
You are building up a head of steam. You are equipping yourself with all the ammunition, all the fuel, all the worldly and psychological resources you may need in order to make a big and important move. You are steeling yourself for a brave choice. You are eyeing up a bold ambition and wondering if you really dare. Actually, you are not really wondering - for you know that you must follow the dream. But you also know you're not quite fully ready yet. There's more ground to be prepared. Don't lose faith.
Some things simply can't be done. That doesn't necessarily mean, though, that we shouldn't try to do them. Some things are all too easy. They aren't guaranteed, though, to get us better results than the things that are difficult. Or vice versa. You are feeling upset about something now. Or someone. It's not necessarily a current issue that's getting to you. It may well have its roots in something that happened long ago. Whatever lies behind it, here is a real chance to get on top of it, reach a better understanding and move on..
Great yogis and spiritual teachers are often referred to, in India, as 'Paramhansa'. The word means 'supreme swan'. To be like a swan, in many cultures and countries, is to be wise and graceful, calm and clear. Is that a state of mind that you can attain? Absolutely, even if recent issues have caused you to feel more like a goose. Indeed, despite the fact that several situations are starting to ruffle your feathers, you are already starting to float elegantly towards the best possible solution to an old problem.
