Difficulties that may now be arising from your need to deal with someone whose view of a situation is overly simplistic. Or ill-informed. Or is being expressed as definitive when, in fact, it is questionable- a policy of patience. After all, if they don't realise that they are wrong, they won't appreciate you pointing it out. While you now wait for them to see the light, it may also help, at least, to attempt to understand how they have managed to reach this opinion.
