Special psychological skills must be honed and then pressed into service whenever we wish to ensure that the people are listening carefully to us. We can't just say, 'Please pay attention.' Or, 'I hope you are following this.' We have to try to imagine the ways in which our words could be misinterpreted and test for this with gentle questions that don't cause too much offence.Just do the right and trust god!
