If you don't care, you won't get anywhere. If you care too much, you may achieve the wrong result. Passion and perspective are mutually exclusive. As soon as you get one, the other disappears. To be truly objective you must free yourself of all intense emotion. You can make a mental allowance for it, but you can't indulge it. To be deeply committed, you must thoroughly forget all about your other options and alternatives. The less you are bothered about an emotional concern now, the more likely you are to succeed.
