'Whatever you do, don't be distracted by this or tempted by that'or what to avoid and what to focus on.Trees live longer than humans. But we show them little respect. They don't have much to say and they rarely travel anywhere. What then, can they teach us? But trees know something about standing still and holding their ground. They know something too about changing their appearance with the seasons yet maintaining their integrity. They don't judge and, as far as we know, they enjoy their existence. It is now time for you to draw deep on the strength at the root of your being and let a wonderful possibility blossom.
There comes a moment in every board game when, having thrown the dice, you must wait for them to stop tumbling and reveal their numbers. Measured by a conventional chronometer this process takes a second or so. For some people, under some circumstances, though, it can feel like forever and a day. Regardless of how long it takes, though, and regardless, too, of how seriously you intend to take the outcome of a process, the dice are now cast. You have set something in motion. Don't waste time trying to influence it further.
