Sometimes, we overhear adults talking about children. They say things like, 'He's got to learn.' Or, 'She may as well get used to this.' Usually, the statement is linked to the need to accept a limitation. Kids must, indeed, discover what is and is not possible but it is important that they don't start to feel as if nothing good is ever going to happen in their lives. Some events in your past have caused you to lower your sights and reduce expectations. But now, you had better believe that the best is possible... because you can attain it.You can only do so much alone. To make real progress in life, you have to be part of a team. You have to work for those you love and respect, and with those you can't relate to as well. You have to find a way to negotiate, compromise, accept. You may also have to learn how to do life's two most difficult things. These both involve forgiveness. The second hardest thing is to forgive another person for something seemingly unforgivable. The only thing harder is to request that forgiveness for yourself!
Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it. We are entering a special phase of astrological activity called, The Harmonic Convergence. It is now much easier for some wishes to come true. That doesn't mean all of your wishes will come true but then, it wouldn't be such a good thing if some of them did. Your task now is simply to focus on the things that really are worth wishing for. Rise above petty, passing concerns and reach for whatever will bring the best to the largest number of people. What are you counting on? A proven process or a hopeful hypothesis? If you have good reason to expect things to work out in a certain way, stop worrying. If you're just crossing your fingers and hoping for the best, uncross those fingers at once. For one thing, while they are crossed, you can't summon the digital dexterity you need. For another, you are running on faith at a time when you need to be acknowledging a reality. The Harmonic Convergence suggests that things can alter - but through intelligent effort, not just optimism.
It must be wonderful to be a politician. Whilst the rest of us have to wrestle with uncertainty, such people never have to worry about the possibility of making an error. Politicians never put a foot wrong. Their policies are perfect. Likewise, priests. God is on their side - and not some inferior second-rate god that other people might worship, but the real, proper one. Don't fall into the trap of arrogance.  Own an old mistake and you won't just avoid making a fresh one; you will be on course for a great success.Feel free to get as involved in an argument as you wish. Explore it from every angle. Leave no stone unturned in your effort to prove an important point. This is your prerogative. You are fully entitled to dwell on a contentious matter for as long as you see fit. Mind you, that's not to say that you will actually get anywhere if you do. If you want to make real progress - or if you would like a life that does not entirely revolve around some petty dispute - avail yourself the sense of perspective that the Harmonic Convergence now offers you.
Time keeps on slipping into the future.' So sang the Steve Miller Band many moons ago. You now seem to be slipping into your own future at some speed. Many things that you once dreamed of and once planned for are starting to happen. Yet you also face other factors that you never expected to have to contend with. S0 under the Harmonic Convergence, you can't escape all that in the twinkling of an eye, but you can start a process that eventually leads to a joyous liberation. You may yet fly like an eagle!
I always shudder when I hear people talk about a time when 'dreams can come true.' Don't they realise the danger? Can't they see the obvious warning signs? What is a nightmare but a kind of dream? If a happy fantasy can turn into a reality, what's to stop a less delightful dream from coming to life? Don't nurture your fears. Don't dwell on your dark desires or your aggravating anxieties. The more energy you give these, the more real and relevant they will seem. Allow the Harmonic Convergence to inspire only good dreams.Today is the first day of the rest of your life. What would you like to do with it? OK. Let's stop right there. There is, 'What you'd like to do with it' and then there is 'What you feel you are obliged to do with it'. Oh, and as we are all now benefiting from the Harmonic Convergence, there is also, 'How you might find a way to like doing what you are obliged to do'. The fact remains, though, that if you really want to be in with a chance of making the right thing happen, you had better make sure it involves doing something you like!
You want things to stay the same; yet you want them to change. You yearn for peace; yet you crave excitement. You seek stability; yet action attracts. Might there be a hint of inconsistency here? Might you be looking here for a cake that you can not only have and eat, but will also allow you to shed pounds? You are pushing the boundaries of what's possible. But then, you are special. Sometimes, you can achieve a balance that seems precarious to everyone else but works perfectly. Stop worrying - but don't stop striving!
A little humility is an admirable thing but we should all beware of false modesty. It is rarely good to be too shy or self-effacing. You don't have anything to apologise for. You do have reason to trust your own judgement. False fear is also unnecessary. And just in case you were wondering, all fear is false! Whatever is worrying you now... you need not be alarmed by it. You can take it in your stride. The more you act with confidence under the Harmonic Convergence, the more reason you will have to feel reassured.
