'Simple things please simple minds.' So children sometimes say to each other. How odd that this should be a playground taunt. A simple mind is not something to be ashamed of; it is something to aspire to. People wrongly confuse simplicity with lack of intelligence. True depth, wisdom and insight stems from the ability to appreciate that which is subtle and straightforward. There are now many convoluted ways to look at the situation you face. They are all irrelevant distractions. Try to take it all at face value. We cannot compare you to the person at the end of a diving board. For you have jumped. Nor can we liken you to someone who has landed in the water. For there has, as yet, been no big splash. And is it fair to suggest that you are frozen in mid-air between the board and the pool? Perhaps you should remember that at times of intensity, perception of time slows down. Seconds seem like minutes, minutes seem like hours. Plenty is happening. It may not be happening as fast as you would like, but it can hardly happen faster.
BE CHILDLIKE PURE.
