Are we the answers to each other's prayers? Or the embodiment of each other's nightmares? Are we here to spread light, love and joy or to create trouble and tension? Annoyingly, there is no definitive answer. It is a bit of both. Even more annoyingly, the very relationships that have the potential to bring most delight can be the source of deepest disconsolation. We run the risk of riding an emotional seesaw whenever we get close to anyone.
