As you now contemplate an experiment involving something that, in theory at least, should prove easy and pleasing, don't intimidate and unnerve yourself with the idea that the reality will turn out to be so much more difficult. This may yet prove to be a pleasing.
There is no law against self-criticism. Actually, there probably ought to be! All those politicians who hang around the halls of power looking for new ways to restrict other people's freedoms might do us a favour if they were only to pass some legislation on this topic. Just imagine if you could be fined for telling yourself off or jailed for having no self-esteem. We would all soon have to buck our ideas up pretty sharp then! But for now, at least, there is no law against it and, there is no justification for it either. Relax!
