Great yogis and spiritual teachers are often referred to, in India, as 'Paramhansa'. The word means 'supreme swan'. To be like a swan, in many cultures and countries, is to be wise and graceful, calm and clearSometimes, anything is better than nothing. Are you in the frying pan? You might as well try the fire. It can't be any worse. You had better be sure, though, that things are as bad as they seem. But are they as bad as they seem? Desperate measures are only appropriate in desperate situations. What is really so desperate about your situation now? You may face the kind of situation in which the right kind of nothing is far preferable to the wrong kind of something. Your challenge now, is all about patience and discrimination.
