THE BIG WHY?

The universe, experts suspect, contains a vast amount of 'dark matter'. We can't see it or measure it. But we can somehow deduce that it must exist. Would that, perhaps, be like the vast amount of fear, anxiety, anger, negativity, jealousy, doubt and insecurity that somehow lurks in our minds, even though we do our best to hide it from ourselves and others? One thing we already know about that kind of dark matter... is that it becomes a lot less dark the moment we decide it doesn't matter. Just remember that here's nothing sensible about anxiety. There's nothing logical, intelligent or practical about letting yourself be overwhelmed by an emotion of any kind. It's fine to feel a feeling. It's healthy, normal and natural. Not only is it good to have a powerful response, deep within, it is good to acknowledge it and respect it. But it's really not so good to be driven so far by that feeling that you can no longer think straight. Life now requires a little straight thinking. Thinking straight means downplaying unnecessary fear!
All but the most exclusive and expensive suppliers of goods and services are keen to be seen as offering value for money. Even those at the high end of the market want to convey a similar message. 'We may be expensive,' they say, 'but that's because we offer the best! You can't put a price on that!' In one way, they're right. Yet it doesn't mean that the cheapest is always the worst. The issues arising in your life are all to do with 'worth'. Money may be one factor in a choice. But don't make it the only factor! The trouble with Facebook posts, Tweets, emails... and even phone conversations - is that they don't allow for eye-to-eye contact. Something about that kind of connection is truly magical. Even Skype and other video calls don't compare with what can happen when two human beings are truly talking to each other in the same room, face to face, heart to heart. Try to achieve the closest kind of link you can with someone it could help enormously to communicate with. That could alter so much. The art of public relations often involves trying to understand not 'what would be a good thing to do' but 'what would be seen by most other people as a good thing'.
If you're pursuing a morally impeccable path that others perceive as dubious, it may not be as materially rewarding as a path that's actually dodgy yet which many see as praiseworthy. If a good 'public relations policy' with the rest of the world is your goal you know what to do. But that's no reason to stop doing something else you are proud of..Can you draw a line under the past and walk away from it? In one way, yes. That's always possible. But if you do, sooner or later, the past will find you and say, 'Why did you draw that line? Wasn't there something you were supposed to learn from, to resolve or to complete? Don't you think it's time to erase the line and bravely revisit what you've been trying to forget?' There's nothing scary about a time when that kind of thing needs to happen. Indeed, there's potentially something wonderful about it. As soon you'll see.Does the universe love you? Does it care about your wellbeing and does it try to support and protect you wherever you go and whatever you do? Or is it callously indifferent to your plight? Are you, to it, but another grain of sand on an endless beach? Another star in the void of infinite space? Or might both statements be true at once? Might the big distinction be not, 'how does the cosmos see you?'... but 'how do you see the cosmos?' It's your belief in the power of 'good' this weekend that will cause good things to occur! Don't assume a malevolent motive behind the words of someone who seems to see the world from a very different angle. They are most likely deeply sincere. But belief is a funny thing, especially when it is passionate.
Attempting to change the mind of someone who holds a fixed opinion is an enterprise more demanding than any mountain climb or expedition to a polar region. Listen, without being either defensive... or too easily persuaded. And where you must differ do so with respect, not anger.Though pioneering work in robotics continues, And We want to know the people we're dealing with to have strong moral principles and a commitment to fairness. Hence the popularity of some brand names. Don't worry or wonder why, just do your best to live up to your reputation! We all prefer our distinctions to be clear-cut.
Just as we don't like to find unexpected flavours in our food, we prefer to know what side of the fence we are on in our conversations! Yet sometimes, we can't achieve that much separation. Things must mix and merge a little. Or (like salad dressings) they blend briefly, only when shaken! But salad dressings have their place in the culinary world, and compromises born of necessity can work wonders between people.

The ups, the downs, the thrills, the spills, the dramas, the traumas... oh how we love life at the fairground they call Planet Earth. Although sometimes it seems more like what  we have to make a conscious, positive effort to see it differently. Don't waste precious time, feeling unhappy about something that seems so wrong. Focus on what you know to be right and much more will start to come right!.
If there's someone you've been trying hard not to upset, you only have to keep out of their way now for another couple of days. Likewise, if there's an argument you've been attempting to avoid or a decision you've been trying to postpone. Of course, we could ask, 'why delay?' Why not make the most of the remaining celestial influence and stir up a little action while the possibility still remains. But really, only you can decide if that's a good idea.
