People who work in sales and marketing know that presentation is everything. If you put an object under the right light, set it in the best possible context, display it in the most attractive way, you will be able to command a higher price for it. Yet, when the customer gets it home, the real question becomes, 'Is this fit for purpose?' Function, ultimately, counts for far more than form. That's the principle you need to keep in mind today. Just think about the job that needs doing and the most appropriate way to meet a need.
