Houseproud people wage an ongoing war against mess and dirt. Their homes are immaculate but can they ever relax? Whenever they put their feet up, with a cup of tea, a part of them must be aware that soon, the cup will need washing and putting away. And every time someone comes to visit, isn't that person a potential source of more untidiness? I'm only trying to give you an example here of what happens when we let a small but natural concern turn into a cause of constant worry. Keep a sense of perspective.
Hero or villain? Victim or perpetrator? Observer or instigator? The distinctions are not always obvious. By the time we take into account our own propensity to rewrite history, to deny the deepest secrets of our heart, to act with subtlety and to influence situations with our silent wishes and private prayers, the water can get muddy indeed. Whose 'fault' is causing what's happening now? It hardly matters. The question is: what power do you have to create an ideal outcome? The answer is 'more than you might think.'
Some people love to talk. Others love to listen. A lot of talking is due to take place soon. This, sadly, does not guarantee a lot of understanding. If you want this, you must put aside a prejudice and ignore anxiety. You need to be big enough - not just to see the other side of a story, but to understand why someone is being unreasonable. Make an effort to go beyond easy opinions and safe points of view. In the process of being so adventurous and open-minded, you will learn something priceless.
What do you need if you want to make a dream come true? Energy? Commitment? Luck? Faith? Belief? Probably, you need all of the above - but perhaps not in quite the quantity you might imagine. Sometimes, we have to strive with all our might to get our heart's desire. Sometimes, we have only to lift a finger. But then, if you are feeling unduly pessimistic, even the lifting of a finger can seem like an exhausting and pointless task. Sometimes you will find a small amount of positive effort will go a long way.
One temptation is pushing you, one need is pulling you and one obligation is effectively slicing away every rope that's holding you in your current position. Like it or not, you've got to move forward. The universe knows precisely what it wants from you and it doesn't seem to be especially interested in your opinion. Resistance is useless but, fortunately, despite the trepidation you feel or the misgiving that you can't quite shake off, the inevitable change is due to prove perfect for you in every respect. As change is law of nature.
To all intents and purposes, there is still very much happening now and it still very much involves, It remains an auspicious, inspiring and unusual influence. It would be a mistake to think of  as 'ordinary times' but it is still surprisingly good. If you need something to fall naturally into place now, it will.
Will there ever be peace on earth? It depends on what we mean by that word. The notion that one day, all human beings will like one another and feel able to show full tolerance, forgiveness and respect, is more than a little idealistic! More likely, if there is ever to be a significant improvement, it will come in the way that we learn to accept and handle our mutual differences. Much the same can be said about peace in our personal life. You can't make everything perfect now, but you can make it better.
After you have climbed a mountain, what can you do? There's no choice. You've got to come back down it again. And then what? Well, you can sit around for a while revelling in the triumph of your mountain-conquering experience. But sooner or later, you're going to have to go out and climb another mountain. The same mountain again won't suffice. Well, not unless you try it blindfold with one hand tied behind your back. You now seek a challenge. You now seek a fresh, inspiring challenge. It is human nature, don't worry.
Some people look after the pennies because they believe, if they do this, that the notes of higher denomination will take care of themselves. Others are very concerned not to make false economies. How silly to waste energy on some trivial cutback whilst the chance to make a much bigger gain or saving is entirely overlooked. Neither policy is perfect. An attempt, though, to find perspective and proportion, can soon turn any stressful situation into a much more satisfactory scenario. Stand further back.
The world is full of people who are busy shaking hands and nodding heads in agreement. Not all gestures of concord, though, are to be trusted. A lot of people feign respect and acceptance, but secretly seethe with rejection and resentment. It is now becoming clear that there is less true trust in a crucial arrangement than there ought to be. Yet, oddly, elsewhere in your world, there is more support than you expected to get from someone you once suspected to be an opponent.
We all have good ideas from time to time. Some  have especially good ones. Unlike people  who have a constant stream of ideas, some good, some bad - or people who have good ideas but spoil them by acting too slowly - you have your good ideas at good moments. It is just that you do not always know how to implement them. Or how to wait till the right moment. Or how to stop when you have gone far enough. But you'll soon find all that out. Good things cannot help but find their way to you.
We can all be wise after the event. Once something has happened, we can easily explain what must have caused it or how it was surely inevitable. That's regardless of how surprised we were or how foxed we still secretly feel. The world is full of 'experts' who really just know a tiny bit more than the rest of us. Instinctively we understand this, yet still, we treat them as if they have godlike powers of perception and prognosis. Never allow  an overconfident individual to shape your expectation. Don't.
They lurk in every crack and crevice. They dwell in dark places and they wait until our backs are turned. Then, just when we don't expect it, they strike, speedily and mercilessly. What are we talking about? Doubts, of course! Fears. Concerns. Misgivings. Not the genuine, reasonable, uncertainties that we always identify when considering a fresh proposition. We're talking here about groundless, recurring, worries. Don't let them get to you this. If there's something you believe, trust it! You won't go wrong.
