We all like to think we are living in the 'real' world. It suits us to believe that our understanding is practical, based on level-headed analysis of carefully considered facts. Yet the distinction between truth and fiction is not always quite as clear cut as we might wish it could be. There are always shadows and shades of grey where our hopes, dreams, fears and fantasies interact with all those incontrovertible facts, distorting their meaning to us. Give life an opportunity to show you something that you haven't previously seen
.Are you beginning to feel like a pawn in someone else's chess game? Or a tiny piece in a much greater, grander, jigsaw? There may be some validity to that perspective but let us remember that even grand masters respect the value of their smallest and seemingly most trivial foot soldiers. And a jigsaw with even one missing piece can hardly be considered complete. You are making an important contribution to a sensitive situation. It would all be very different without your involvement. Now do your best with pride.
