We take so much for granted. We look, for example, at the beauty of nature and we just think, that's nature.' We are surrounded by wonderful people, each a shining example of humanity at its most glorious and individual and we think, 'Oh, that's just so and so.' And when we allow ourselves to get excited and enthusiastic? Often it is in response to something which really isn't even all that special! Then we wonder why life seems to lack depth or fulfilment. We are just living as spending our lease on earth.
Doubts, Fears. Concerns. Misgivings. Not the genuine, reasonable, uncertainties that we always identify when considering a fresh proposition. We're talking here about groundless, recurring, worries which occupy our mind and heart and we feel restless. They say that one side of the human brain processes emotions, while the other deals with ideas. In a theoretically ideal world, we would all have balanced hemispheres. We would be just as sure of our feelings as we are of our thoughts. And though these two aspects of ourselves may often seem irreconcilable, we would find some way to make them work together and, in the process, profit enormously. Actually, on a good day, we can all do this!
Hot air rises. That's why attics tend to be warmer than basements, especially in houses that are heated. It is also why passenger balloons fly. Not only does it rise, it expands. Much the same can be said of the kind of hot air that people spout when they are debating controversial topics. The more we discuss any subject, the more discussion it seems to merit. Small differences of opinion become bigger. The days before buttons and screens, children used to amuse themselves with simpler playthings. Like, for example, kaleidoscopes. Perhaps you have seen one of these in a museum.
you can gain some insight into the nature of this device by looking at how so much keeps changing in your life. Each time you think, 'I can see the picture now,' it changes. It is not getting worse or better, just different. It may be wise to allow a situation more time to shift.a suggestion that you were being unreasonable in some of your dealings with other people. Now, of course, that would never be true of you, would it? Make your choices simple. Add fuel to a fire or use your power to defuse a potentially explosive situation.'Keep things in perspective!
