Who is on your side? Who can you trust? Whenever we stop to ask ourselves questions like this, we immediately put ourselves at a disadvantage. The very act of wondering makes us start to feel a little suspicious of the people around us. Before we know it, we are doubting them and once a doubt of any kind has been awakened, it can be hard to lay it to rest. The imminent  is an indication that an existing alliance is already strong and can now be profitably built upon. Try not to undermine it.When teachers of wisdom and mindfulness offer advice to their would-be students, they frequently suggest that a calm state is best entered into in a quiet darkened room eliminated perhaps, by a single scented candle. All well and good if such an environment can be created. But most of us find that our greatest need for peace and tranquillity occurs in the midst of daily hustle, bustle, stress and strain. There may be no obvious way to escape a source of pressure this week, but a sense of elevation, even transcension, yet awaits you.
