The more you allow yourself to take a serious stance, the more a problem will deepen and complicate itself. Despite your concern to the contrary, you really can afford to bring forth levity and humourThere are times when you need to think long and hard about what you are doing, where you are going and why you are making particular choices. You thrive under such circumstances. Only fools think they know it all. Wise, capable people have a different self-image. They acknowledge their own limitations, encourage themselves to go beyond these and yet feel willing,, the outcome depends entirely on how well you make your contribution
There are so many things in this world that seem woefully wrong and almost tragically unfair. We don't have to look very far to gather examples. Indeed, if we ever want to relax and enjoy life, it sometimes seems as if we have to make a conscious effort to stop looking at all that could so easily disappoint or disillusion us. Yet despite all that seems wrong in so many ways, there is real hope and joy and magic in your life
Too often, people just don't do what they say they are going to do. They make empty promises. If challenged, these are usually followed with explanations. 'Oh, I would have done but...' Or, 'I was just about to when...'
We rarely stop and think about who and what we really are and where we are truly going. We become lost and confused through the very process. Hence our appetite for trivia. Bring on the soap-operas, the dramas and distractions. Let us all do whatever it takes to keep a broader perspective at bay and postpone the moment when we must separate from our frail and fragile shells.
The cleaner your copybook is in all other respects, the greater chance of success you have here
Whenever we set out on a mission to accomplish a task, we try not to think about how long this is going to take. Experience teaches us that the existence of a deadline will only create unnecessary fear of frustration. People often make a lot of fuss about details that really aren't as important or significant as they may at first appear. At least try the easy option before going down the tricky road. Why do bad things happen? Usually, it's because other bad things have happened previously. Whenever someone lets us down or treats us unfairly, we cannot help but react.. Somehow, in turn, the very existence of these inner resentments then influences the choices we make and the priorities we choose. But you have the power to break free from that cycle and make a positive gesture, 'I am not going to worry about how fairly or otherwise I am being judged, I am just going to do my best to behave in a wise and saintly fashion.'
