Something. Nothing. How many of us seem to spend half our lives or more, trying to turn one into the other? When we are not attempting to create something out of nothing for dramatic or material purposes, we often end up reducing a something to a nothing to meet other emotional needs. Strange though it may seem, we are all born blessed with both abilities. Actually, perhaps not so strange given what we come from and to what we will one day return. We are not our fears. Nor can we accurately define our personalities by the things that worry or concern us. We may have many responsibilities but those duties, in and of themselves, do not represent a fair summation of our personality. Even our loves, our most empathic affinities and powerful passions, have only so much to say about who and what we truly are.
