Imagine being on a train in such a hurry to reach your destination that you run from the rear carriage to the front one. Will this get you there any faster? We all spend a lot of time engaged in such unnecessary activity. We shout encouragement at our sporting heroes and heroines when we see them competing on TV. They can't hear us - and we know it. But we feel the urge to express our sense of urgency. If you are enjoying the sense of urgency, that's fine. If not, just relax. It will make no difference!
Don't let the past poison the present. Don't hang on to what happened yesterday. Don't live your life by the standards you once subscribed to. Be sure that what you are doing now reflects what you feel... not what you feel you ought to feel. You can't bring back yesterday, no matter how you try - but you can push tomorrow further away, just by focusing too hard on the past. You've got a wonderful opportunity to embrace, right here and now. This can be a moment you remember happily for ever - as long as you are willing to move on.
When one door closes, another opens. And when one door opens? Well, there is a positive to every negative and a negative to every positive. In an ideal world we would all learn to see the other side of every situation. We would be optimistic in the face of adversity, yet cautious when presented with an apparent advantage. Generally, though, the pessimists are gloomy about everything and the bright-siders are endlessly naive. Get the balance right now to move on and you will make a brilliant choice.Life is a matter of choices, think before you make any choice! We act as if we have been here forever. We have this way about us that implies ownership of the planet. We forget that we are only visiting. Strangely too, though, we forget the responsibilities that we ought to feel towards Earth, regardless of whether we are permanently (or temporarily) resident. We are like toddlers, full of unfounded confidence, arrogantly ignorant. Only not so cute. That's us all, not just you! Your approach is more mature than most and that extra insight and wisdom pays dividends!
