What does it feel like to be right? You ought to know, you are right about most things most of the time. A more appropriate question, actually, is, 'What does it feel like to be vindicated?' That's an experience you do not have so often. Even when it is patently clear you have made a wise choice, others somehow find a way to overlook the key part you have played in proceedings. Soon, not only do you get the satisfaction of knowing that you made a good judgement - you get a little gratitude too. When all processes of communication become more difficult, it is not so simple - and especially and although communication issues are definitely key to the story of our life, these are not necessarily problematic. Our challenge involves learning to understand someone better, so that they, in turn, can interact more meaningfully with you. That's an achievable goal.Imagine a meeting between two people who are furious with one another. Because they have been well brought up, they begin their conversation with the traditional exchange of how-are-yous. They may nod, bow or even shake hands - and, of course, each of those how-are-yous must be answered with the customary 'fine thanks'. Then, only then, can it possibly be polite to let rip with a tirade of insults and accusations. Perhaps it is a fine way to proceed but don't,  be so civilised that you gloss over a key point.
