You need to trust what you feel. This applies even if what you feel today differs from what you felt yesterday. Of course, it's preferable, in life, to be consistent wherever possible. If, though, you make the desire to be consistent your highest priority, you can end up dogmatic, rigid or inflexible. Things change. So, too, do people. Sometimes, they change slowly. Sometimes, suddenly. If you are to be truly honest, you must be true to what you feel now, not what you once felt. Honour past promises but don't be a slave to them.We are particularly prone to suggest that people can expect deals to come undone and messages to be missed. Those whose lives are most directly influenced by the opinion of others for example, are told to prepare for the worst. Yet in my experience, that's scaremongering. Really, all that's happening in life now, is a process of much-needed review and re-evaluation.
