'You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.' So goes the traditional agreement. Very sensible it is too. Recently, though, it seems as if there has been more back-stabbing than back-scratching going on. Someone, who ought to be helping, is hindering - and a relationship that should be sweet, is sour. Yet, in a strange way, conflict is helping to produce what co-operation on its own could never create. The partnership you are now entering into is not exactly conventional, but it may yet have its advantages. Can we leave the past behind us? That depends how much unfinished business we have! Many people have famously made spectacular attempts to change their identity and leave the past behind, but sooner or later, it has caught up with them. As, in some small way, at least, it does with us all. Which is why we need a) to avoid doing things we may later regret and b) if we have already done such things, to apologise and be honest. A part of your past is catching up with you now. A good part. Here comes your reward for a wise choice.
Why do many creatures have complex courtship rituals? Throughout nature, where you might expect to find everything geared to efficiency, things have their rhythm and mystique. Seeds are in no hurry to turn into plants. They don't even necessarily know this is their destiny. They just follow their impulses and let time bring what it will. You now seem to be in something of a hurry to reach a certain point in your emotional life. Don't be. Enjoy the suspense and the unfolding story. No matter what it ultimately leads to, it's special. Wake up. Breakfast. Go somewhere. Carry out chores. Lunch. More chores. Go home. More chores. Eat again. Collapse in exhausted state or go out, get even more exhausted and then collapse for not enough sleep. There has to be more to life. And there is! There's 'feel guilty'. There's 'try to resolve difficult relationships'. There's 'struggle for money' - and there is er.... um.... 'happiness'? Did someone mention that? Does this mythical state actually exist? Actually, as soon you will be nicely reminded, it does!
