It sometimes seems as if the world is full of people who are pretending to be other people. They may not be engaging in identity theft but they are certainly borrowing various mannerisms from one another and, in some cases, putting on airs and graces that support an inflated sense of self-importance. Few of us are truly sure of who we really are but all of us have a clear idea about who we wish we could become.Mistakes make the world go round. Don't our errors teach us far more than our great successes can ever show us? And when we stop to look at the hive of industry that surrounds every city, what do we find on closer inspection? Folk rushing around adjusting the arrangements that others put in place some while before. The last lot were sure that they were doing the right thing. The new lot are equally sure. And the next lot to come along will have similar certainty! Wisdom stems from applying a philosophical eye.
