In one key situation, you can't influence the outcome of a process, no matter how passionate you get. But if you can be guided by a fair outsider's view you may yet make a highly beneficial decision. In your world, no such clues will be given. Rightly or wrongly, most things that are said will be believed
If we always knew exactly what was going to happen before it happened, where would the fun be? Surprises are a part of the process by which we rise to challenges and thus experience a sense of triumph. And when we find ourselves grappling with unexpected difficulties that are not so easy to overcome? This brings our chance to try harder! The question  is not 'How has something happened?' but 'What constructive steps can I take next?' You'll find there are plenty.
