Some processes require much application and dedication. It can be difficult to tell how successful these are being. Signs of positive progress aren't always obvious at first. You just have to keep on doing your best and hoping that your best is going to prove good enough. That's all well and good, until you begin to doubt yourself. Once you start to imagine that you may have made a mistake and that you could now, inadvertently, be doing your worst, the temptation is to give up too soon. Don't do that now.You are going to be fine. The world is full of people who really ought to learn to think more carefully about what they are doing. So many assumptions are made. So many automatic responses take place. It is almost as if we are all sleep-walkers. Every so often we wake, look at what's happening, decide that we really must do something constructive and then fall straight back into the dream. Yet that's a harsh view. We can equally argue that we are mainly awake with an occasional tendency to doze.
