We can't take the law into our own hands, no matter how aggrieved we may feel. We have to respect the way that the world works, even if we feel it doesn't work very well at times. This may all seem very frustrating but you and I both know it is right. The alternative is to live in a world where everyone just comes up with reasons why they should be allowed to do whatever they want, whenever they want. But regardless of what you can't do this, there is one thing you can do - and it is all you need to do- patience. If we look long enough and hard enough at anything or anyone, we will find something to criticise. A critical eye can discern a flaw in every plan. So what if we take a disapproving view of the human tendency to take a disapproving view? That's when things get different. Suddenly we start to see how we have the power to make ourselves feel better or worse, entirely through adjustments of attitude. It is all too easy to see what's bad about a situation. Now rise to the challenge of seeing what's good about it.
