We all have agendas. We all, too, have hidden agendas. And then, even on those agendas that we don't want the rest of the world to know about, there are the agendas that we may be hiding, even from ourselves. What is truly motivating someone now? Are they in denial about an issue that matters more to them than they care to concede? If there is to be real progress, there must first be real understanding. If there is to be understanding, there must first be real honesty. Begin by being honest with yourself.
