Emotions, we are often told by people who profess to know, are 'illogical'. We should not expect them to be based on sensible causes or at least, that's what the experts say. But isn't it fairer to say that feelings follow perfectly straightforward courses but to identify these, we have to be subtle, sensitive and brave. When we just can't see why something upsets someone, it is because we somehow don't want to see it. To gain a better understanding of someone now, begin by trying to gain a better understanding of yourself.
What's happening is what needs to be happening. And as for what isn't happening? It isn't happening because it doesn't actually need to be happening, no matter how much a part of you thinks or fears that it does. Certain stresses and strains have caused you to come up with a series of plans and strategies. Now you feel personally responsible for making sure they all come to fruition. But you've done all you can for now at least and that's more than enough. Try not to put yourself under unfair pressure.
