Why do bad things happen? Usually, it's because other bad things have happened previously. Whenever someone lets us down or treats us unfairly, we cannot help but react. Somehow, that negativity goes into a simmering pot, alongside all the other unhappy memories that we have ever collected. Somehow, in turn, the very existence of these inner resentments then influences the choices we make and the priorities we choose. But you have the power to break free from that cycle and make a positive gesture.
