To all intents and purposes, you now enter a whole new world. Things may be much as they were before in one way but in another, they could hardly be more different. New dynamics are coming into play, new rules apply. These changes may seem subtle but they have immense meaning. You need to stop thinking in quite the way that you used to think. There is no point in applying yesterday's standards to today's dilemmas. You have got far more freedom than you realise. And, as you are about to see, that's great.
The world sometimes seems to be full of truths that must never be spoken and secrets that must always be kept. We tiptoe around each other, attempting to avoid potentially controversial topics. We don't want to cause offence, yet nor can we always manage to maintain a state of silence when we perceive something as unacceptable. You are really not sure what to do for the best in a sensitive situation. Look for a diplomatic way to say what must be said. But remember, you have a duty to say it.
We all like to be impulsive and spontaneous. When everything has to be planned in advance, tied to a timetable or restricted in accordance to a set of rules, life soon starts to seem very dull. Yet various circumstances are now putting you under pressure to watch your step, limit your commitment and curb your enthusiasm. There are some aspects of this requirement that you have to abide by - but only some! Somewhere in your world , it is possible to gain a great deal out of the use of just a little imagination.
Politicians like to think that they know how to put right whatever is wrong. Nor is it sufficient for them to simply present themselves as people who have all the answers. They must also make a distinction between their solutions and those of their opponents. Other politicians also think that they know how to put right whatever is wrong. None who seek power are ever allowed to say, 'Oh, I'm not sure about this. I need some time to think.' Yet it is surely better to concede a genuine doubt than to feign false certainty.
