Are you working hard enough? Are you paying appropriate attention to your duties and responsibilities? Are you applying sufficient discipline to all the commitments that you must keep to and the promises that need to be honoured? Perhaps you should redouble your efforts - or perhaps not. Perhaps you are already doing at least as much as you need to be doing, if not more. Perhaps too, you owe yourself a little more leeway. There is not just real room in your life now for greater levity; there is a real need for it.
It was Oscar Wilde who famously said, 'I can resist anything but temptation.' And right now, his comment can serve as the voice  as very often You face several strong temptations that may sway you from the commitments that you have bravely made to your resolution. But unlike Oscar, you can resist them!
Wishes require neither effort nor strategy. We close our eyes, we make them then we hope for the best. Resolutions take effort and commitment. You feel you need to equip yourself for the various pitfalls and problems that could soon occur in your emotional life. As you investigate those numerous potential difficulties, take care not to persuade yourself that you are making a big mistake. You are doing no such thing. Keep the upside in mind at all times. Life is effectively inviting you to try something that's next to impossible. But on the road to the heart, the one that leads to contentment and delight, guess what's always next to be found next to 'impossible'?
