How much does something matter? Might there be a point past which a line is not worth holding quite so vehemently today?Diversions and distractions, positive and negative alike, can make us deviate from our missions. Your challenge is to remain straight and sober enough to see the difference between what is truly important and what is not.
When we buy seeds from a garden centre, they come in little packets with instructions about how best to plant them. But how do the seeds know what they are supposed to do? Where is their manual? Who sends them on a training course? Isn't it a bit presumptuous of the cosmos to expect all that growth to happen naturally?
We all live in a 'world of our own'. We are wrapped up in a little private, personal, bubble. Nobody else knows what we are thinking or feeling. Even when we strive to communicate our deepest emotions or our most profound thoughts - and even when others are genuinely attempting to summon sympathetic understanding, the finer points of those complex, subtle, yet crucial processes, are often lost in translation. It may be too much to hope for a perfect exchange of views and ideas today, but you can at least try your best.
