Infinity is not imaginary. Eternity is not some far-fetched romantic notion. These things are very real. More real, indeed, than the fleeting lives that we lead and the ephemeral identities that we relate to so closely. How dare any of us decide that there is only one thing that is ever going to make us feel happy? Better or worse? More of the same or different and new? Onwards and upward? Or down into a spiral? So much depends on your expectations.
It is not just the latest gadgets that keep requiring us to learn how to operate new controls. New social circumstances also oblige us to review our mechanisms of self-expression and even the words we traditionally use. As our language evolves, things that were once seemingly quite acceptable to say can soon make us sound woefully old-fashioned or even bigoted and ignorant.
You  have a chance to make a change; but you shouldn't see it as a chore. We can gain greatly from updating an idea- There's a balance that can be easily tipped one way or another. This much we have to understand. We think, though, that the final outcome of a drama is out of your control. But actually, it does not lie in the lap of the gods. We have much more power and influence than we realize.
