We all like to feel as i f we are in control. We want to know what's going on and what we can expect to happen next. A state of understanding gives rise to a mood of comfort. We can even like this so much that we will ignore the flaw in an artificial or unrealistic explanation because it allows us to retain the belief that we have a handle on what's happening. A mysterious improvement may seem less welcome than the continuation of an old problem in which we know where we stand. Be wary of your own wariness Humans are born blessed (or cursed) with selective memories. These are often most evident in relation to extremes of experience. It is, for example, rare to find someone who can fully recall the sensation of an intense pain. While it is there, there may be no ignoring it but once it is gone it is almost as if it never existed. The recollection of deep joy can be almost as elusive, albeit that we are usually more eager to bring it back. Have you all but forgotten how happy a pleasing situation can make you?
It is right for a situation to remain unchanged for a while despite your strong urge to alter it.So accept yourself.
