Getting what you want is not so tricky. Knowing what you want is the real challenge. Thinking that you know what you want is easy. Being absolutely sure that you have identified the best objective is... well... let's just ask, who can be absolutely sure of anything? And if we ever do feel total certainty, perhaps we are somewhat deluded, our doubts are valid and valuable. They are not reasons to stop whatever you are doing but they are reasons to proceed with care. That care is what will yet ensure your success. What happens when you are driving and you accelerate as fast as you can with your right foot, whilst stamping on the brake with your left? Some manoeuvres are best avoided and some situations should be kept well away from. There's been quite a lot of holding back,it seems safe to proceed at a faster but more adventurous pace. We have to decide, though, quite how committed to a particular plan of action. If you can't be wholehearted, you are probably better off doing nothing.
