There are times when we think, 'What's going on?' Or, 'How have I ended up in a situation like this?' Or even, 'I don't know how much more stress I am capable of taking.' Usually, when we feel this way, it is because something important is happening. Not something bad that we should strive to resist but perhaps, something difficult and hard to accept. This, by the way, is not a prediction. If you don't already feel like this, you may never do. But if you do, don't be sad or afraid. Just be brave and trusting. Remember the emperor who had no clothes. He believed that he was dressed in the finest cloth, beautifully tailored to produce a flattering garment. He had been so deeply deluded by a pair of malevolent hypnotists, that he was able to stand in the centre of the city with confidence, even though he was naked. Wouldn't it be good to have the same power as those con men? Don't you wish that you could tell someone something and have them believe you without question? If you want it, you can have that power. We need to talk about how powerful you are. How strong, how influential, how magical. Really, there's nothing magical about being born blessed with magical powers. It isn't mystical. Your ability to change people's minds, alter their attitudes and, in the process, to shape the situation that you find yourself in, stems from nothing more peculiar than a natural sense of empathy. That, plus a surprisingly good ability to communicate, brings you all the success that you might ever require now.Have you ever travelled to a strange city and arrived there in the hours after darkness? It is almost impossible to get a true impression of a location when it is night there. You really have to see what the place looks like during the day. The shapes and shadows are so misleading. You may think that there is a lot wrong with a situation in your life now but really, it is just the perspective from which you are viewing it that needs to alter a little and then everything will begin to seem much more reassuring.
