Wherever there is tension, there is the potential for more tension. Raised voices simply encourage more people to start shouting. Strong opinions, forcefully expressed, act as invitations to others who have opinions to the contrary and wish to make their points just as emphatically. You don't put out a fire by pouring more fuel on it. And you don't resolve an argument by picking an extra battle.  A wound can be healed and a source of stress reduced. But only if you can manage to be gentle and kind.
Some city dwellers find, if they ever go on holiday to the country, that they can't sleep easily at night. They are used to the noise of the traffic, the honking of car horns and the loud voices of people on the street. The absence of all that equates to an eery silence. And, of course, the same is true in reverse for rural residents visiting urban areas. We can all adapt, given time. But the shock of the new can seem unnerving. So draws your attention to a factor you have begun to accept without question. Can this be right? The big changes due to happen in your life.
Fame and merit are not the same. We tend to assume that if somebody has celebrity status, they must also have integrity, depth, wisdom - or other laudable qualities such as kindness. Yet there is no connection. Some of the greatest souls who ever walked on this earth, have led humble lives. Whilst many of the names that are most well known to us have demonstrated reprehensible behaviour. There can be no doubt now about your significance and how much you deserve the boon that life is about to grant you.
Great experts often make difficult tasks seem easy. They have experience. They have set themselves big challenges, many times in the past and so they have learned the hard way how to accomplish those tasks. You are on your way towards becoming a great expert. You are just at the point in your journey where you are beginning to feel as if you will never be able to succeed. This is the very point that all adventurers reach, just before success rises up to greet them. Just be brave for a little longer.
If life is predestined, if everything was planned out for us long ago, where are the notes from the meeting? Why don't we remember being in on the discussions? Where is the justice in that? Are we really supposed to feel comforted by the notion that we have no choice and that everything is bound to happen in a particular way? You really can shape the next phase of your future. You can make things so much better. You can shake off so much anxiety and negativity. And in doing so, you can change everything.
