There is only one thing that we want less than the feeling that we have 'settled for second best'. That's the suspicion that we ourselves may be the second best that someone else has settled for! We want to be (and to get) first choice. Sometimes, we want this so badly that we trick ourselves. We look at a situation and think, 'Ah yes, this is exactly where I intended to be.' Even when we never had any such intention. As we now approach a lunar eclipse in your opposite sign, it is time to look again, more honestly, at a compromise. You keep thinking about something that nearly happened. Your mind is full of could-have-beens and should-have-beens. The more you dwell on these and all the if-onlys that they give rise to, the harder it becomes to make practical decisions. Resentments mingle with anxieties to create the psychological equivalent of a bad smell. Yet the coming eclipse offers you the emotional equivalent of a window. You can let in fresh air. You can chase away those lurking remnants of the past. Then everything will improve..
