We have to know absolutely for sure that someone is guilty of something, not merely suspect it or assume it, just because there's something suspicious going on. As in courts, so in all situations where something or someone is being put to the test. The question today is not, 'what do you think?' but, 'what do you know?' 'Right. That's it! No more Mr Nice Guy.' Uttering phrases like this, actors turn passive characters into assertive ones. One last straw breaks the camel's back. Suddenly, they're out of patience and ready to summon fire and fury. Does it ever actually happen in true life? Aren't we all, more or less, likely to stay within the bounds of the personality we have already established? Almost but not quite. Once in a while, such transformations can occur. The real question now is what have you had it up to here with?
